Pricing FAQ

Questions about cost

If your event is academic or non-profit, the short answer is: it's free.

Is it really free for academic conferences?

Yes. The Academic plan is free forever for academic and non-profit events — universities, research groups, student chapters and scholarly societies. You get unlimited submissions, full double-blind peer review, registration, program scheduling and citable proceedings with no hidden fees.

Are there per-submission fees?

No. Unlike some platforms that charge per paper or per reviewer, ConferenceOS never bills per submission on any plan. Academic events pay nothing at all, and paid tiers are based on overall usage and support needs rather than the number of papers.

Can I migrate from EasyChair or Microsoft CMT?

Yes. We import submissions, authors, reviewer assignments and review scores from EasyChair, Microsoft CMT, OpenReview, Ex Ordo and similar systems via CSV or direct export. Professional and Enterprise plans include assisted or white-glove migration so a mid-cycle move is safe.

What payment gateways are supported?

Registration and ticketing support Stripe, Razorpay and SSLCommerz out of the box, covering cards, mobile wallets and local methods across many countries. Enterprise customers can request additional gateway integrations.

Do you offer discounts for student-run events?

Student-run and non-profit events qualify for the free Academic plan, so there is nothing to discount — the full peer-review, registration and proceedings toolkit is included at no cost. If a student-led event needs Professional features, contact us and we will work something out.
